White Dresses and Willows

Willows are one of my favorite kinds of trees. When I was little, I would come outside and talk to this one, like it was Grandmother Willow from Pocahontas. And before I got too big, I would swing from the branches, like I'm pretending to do in the first two pictures. Now they just crack when I hang from them.

Just because it's customary, I should probably address the looong break I took from my very new blog. There's only one explanation: school. But tomorrow's the last day, and Wednesday is my last exam. I'm thrilled to say the least.

  2. Beautiful dress! So perfect for summer. I love willows too. Something about them looks like they belong in fairy tales books and not real life.

  5. adorable! what a magical white dress. and your road trip a few posts back.. I'm in love with the embroidered dress you were wearing!

you asked how I keep my hair healthy yesterday.. I don't do much with it, I just shampoo and condition it every day (which is actually not good for hair, but I hate not washing it) and I never blow dry it. I don't really use anything on it, honestly. I try to stay away from straighteners and products and the like. I used to dye it all the time in high school and it was very unhealthy, but it's gotten better since then.

and for the record, you've got insanely beautiful hair, lady! it's so pretty braided.

  8. Wow. I love Willows too, I also think it is because of Pocahontas. Unfortunately they are basically nonexistent here in Texas.
