Dress: Thrifted $3...Imitation Keds: Payless $5
I wear this dress so much. It's so cool and breezy and colorful, and I love it. In addition, it's part of what I used for my prom dress. When I cut the bottom off to shorten it, my mother sewed it onto the bottom of my prom dress as a ruffle. And I wore the belt with it as well.
And clearly, I'm kind of obsessed with sneakers and skirts. I can't help it. They're just so functional.
These days I'm spending all day at a theatre camp for kids as an "intern." I'm basically taking the class with them, but as a good role model and semi-baby sitter. And we have a t-shirt that we're required to wear, as well as the "no skirts" rule. So though I've worn this outfit many times in the past, today it was kind of a lie. (I did wear it to go shopping with the mama.) Similar to the cardigan in the last photo. It was about 85 degrees outside; there's no way I kept a sweater on.
I love your outfit. It has that 90s retro vibe without looking dated.

ReplyDeleteHi Hannah!
ReplyDeleteI somehow stumbled across your blog while looking for reviews of Keds this evening. I am looking at purchasing my very first pair! I have read all sorts of stories on various websites about Keds making feet really sweaty so I have been hesitant to buy a pair in the past. Has this been your experience with Keds or are your feet always dry when you wear them?
Fantastic website, by the way! You have a new fan!
Sarah.
